Sustainability at MAS
MAS operates with a clear and consistent corporate vision on environmental sustainability, which has been developed to help reduce our environmental footprint with the growth of our business.

Social and corporate sustainability are also our priorities. For over a decade our hallmark women’s empowerment platform - Women Go Beyond (WGB) - has made a difference in the lives of female associates by fostering pride in their job as well as an appreciation of their place in the organisation, the community and the country. The programme, which officially commenced with the structuring of the four pillars of success; Career Advancement, Work-life Balance, Skills Development and Rewarding Excellence, also continues to focus on promoting knowledge, awareness, leadership skills, attitudinal changes and the ability to achieve a well-rounded and holistic life-experience. Furthermore, since 2006, our Sustainable Development Education Programme - Eco Go Beyond  - has been taking the message of sustainable development to communities through work in over 60 schools islandwide.

With humility and mutual respect instilled in the way we work, giving back to the community  continues to be an essential part of our values and culture for over two decades. We leverage our success, scope and resources to make a positive difference in the communities we operate in. We believe that education and awareness are indispensable elements in achieving sustainable development. Over the years, we have embarked on initiatives where the communities that we operate in have the opportunity to benefit from excellent education, to learn the values, behaviour and lifestyles required for a sustainable future, resulting in positive societal transformation. We are committed to the improvement of the health and wellbeing of communities and transform living standards, health infrastructure, facilities and its availability.

MAS is also embedded with a sporting culture that nurtures its employees to excel in local and international arenas. This culture is not only instilled in our professional sports men and sports women, but also in our workforce, spurring them to believe in themselves and live as champions.
